If you’ve heard about Sonos speakers, you’re aware of their reputation for audio quality. Easy to use with relatively affordable options for those wanting clear wireless sound, Sonos speakers offer an expansive set of features.

That includes multi-room playback, indoor-outdoor listening, smart assistance, and an extensive streaming library. Unlike some other high-quality speakers, Sonos supports everything from Tidal, Spotify, and Pandora to Stitcher and SiriusXM.

But Sonos speakers aren’t just for music. They can also be used to play and listen to audiobooks through your Audible profile. Once you’ve registered accounts with Sonos and Audible Amazon’s subscription service that allows you to listen to podcasts, audiobooks, and more you can sync your Sonos speaker to your Audible app.

How to play Audible books on Sonos

1. Open the Sonos app on your mobile device.

2. If you’re not already signed in, enter your account information and log in.

3. From the Sonos app’s Home screen, tap on the “More” option, stylized as three horizontal dots, in the bottom right corner of the screen.

4. On the next screen, tap on “Add Music Services.”

5. Locate the Audible app on the menu and tap on it.

6. Tap on the button labeled “Add to Sonos.”

7. Authorize Audible to connect with Sonos by following the on-screen prompts, signing in to your Audible account, and tapping on “Continue” to finish.
