Day two of small-group training is the books; in fact Chelsea will soon take to the training pitch at Cobham for Day 3. Here are just a few pictures from Day 2, and mostly concentrating on just a couple of the training groups — including the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mateo Kovačić, and Pedro. N’Golo Kanté opted to stay home for the foreseeable future — with the full blessing of the manager and the club — due to health concerns over the coronavirus, while Callum Hudson-Odoi was held out due to some other illness. Reports assure that CHO’s illness is not COVID-19, but in this day and age, it’s certainly better to be safe than sorry. So he’s staying home for now as well.
