Inter Milan hero Aldo Serena is backing a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba has suddenly popped up on Inter’s radar ahead of the summer market.
“It’s true that Paul’s development stopped a bit compared to his years with Juventus, but he’s a player of the highest level, who combines power and quality,” Serena told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He’s in the middle of his career, at 27 he can give a lot and if he finds the right coach, which for me is (Antonio) Conte, he can become decisive again.
“From a technical point of view, I say that the team that can get him will make a great signing. Of course, then there’s the discussion of salary.”
Serena, however, insists Inter will need more than Pogba to win the Scudetto.
“I don’t know because I expect a transfer market of a high level at Juventus too. But I’m sure that with the Frenchman, Conte would make a nice leap.”
