Osun State Governor Edgobayga Utola announced human rights activist and chairman of the State Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), member Amitolo Shitto, as executive director (GG) of the newly formed Amotekun Corps.
He also served as executive director of the Bureau of Social Services (BOSS), trainer and management consultant, Richard Tinobo.
BOSS was established by the state government to leverage top-notch human resources and technological innovation to drive effective oversight and evaluation of social services provision to ensure public value and fiscal discipline.
The governor’s chief press secretary, Mr. Ismail Omipidan, who announced in a statement on Friday, said the two appointments came into effect immediately, adding that the appointments were in line with Governor Eilah’s commitment to the safety and well-being of the people of Medina.
Shito, 55, active, is expected to deploy his decades-long experience to release his new responsibility with total loyalty and dedication.
Tinobu, also 55, holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lagos University and a master’s degree in business (international business) from Lagos State University.
As the new CEO of BOSS, Tinobu is expected to bring his number of years of experience as a management consultant to carry on his new mission.
