Celebrity couple Adekunle Gold and Simi have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

Simi announced the birth of her daughter whose name she revealed as Adejare on her Instagram page along with a photo of her husband Gold holding the newborn baby.

“It’s like free-falling – this unending, soul snatching, infinite, mind-boggling love. Deja, my baby girl, I got you. I promise. Now and forever. So help me God. ❤️ 5.30.2020” the singer captioned the post.

Simi and Adekunle Gold first confirmed that they were expecting a baby when she showed off her baby bump in the music video for her latest single “Duduke” a few weeks ago. The release of the music video also coincides with the singer’s 32nd birthday.
