The death of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, a day after Irrfan Khan died of cancer, is an irreparable loss to the Indian film industry. There is no one to replace the two actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, the two returned after keeping aside their roles before death. Even before one could recover the loss of Irrfan Khan, heard the death of Rishi Kapoor.

This is a terrible week for the Indian film industry and another sad day for Bollywood. Soon after hearing the death of Rishi, Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his Facebook that he is totally destroyed. Malayalam actor Prithviraj too wrote a similar experience. ‘This is a terrible and sad week for the film industry. I had the privilege of working with the actor in Aurangzeb and will forever be thankful for the time I got to spend with him,’ wrote Prithiviraj. He never called me by my name as it was similar with his grandfather’s name Prithviraj Kapoor, remembers Prithviraj.

Rishi Kapoor died at the H N Reliance Hospital in Mumbai Thursday morning. He was 67. He was under treatment for cancer. The actor leaves behind his wife Neetu Singh, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima.
